I am a licensed structural engineer with over 6 years of commercial structural design experience (and counting) in most construction materials (wood, steel, concrete, and masonry) and am currently licensed in 5 states. I have experience with design of multi-story apartment complexes, hospital expansions, industrial facilities, and commercial retrofits in multiple states across the US. Along with my commercial design, I am seeking to expand upon my career by also provided engineering services in the residential market. I am an engineer not just by trade, but by passion, and believe utilizing this knowledge to help aid people realize their dream home or expansion is an opportunity and blessing God has given me that I simply cannot pass up.
I chose "Strong Roots" both as a call back to the analogy of a strong foundation Christ gave in Matthew 7, and also a metaphor that mountain roots allow for the greatest mountains. All structures require a foundation not just of concrete or masonry, but a foundation in understanding of soils, physics, and material capacities. This understanding is the foundation to this business because it is what I put the most of my energy and focus towards in all of my designs.
